Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a proactive and organized Case Manager to be part of our dedicated team. In this role, you will handle a diverse caseload and provide essential support to our attorneys in developing settlements, preparing legal documents, and managing client correspondence. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and demonstrate empathy towards clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage daily with existing and prospective clients through phone and in-person interactions.
- Request and obtain medical records from healthcare providers, maintaining communication with clients and providers throughout treatment.
- Gather necessary documents to substantiate injury and liability claims.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and resolve account balances.
- Collaborate closely with team members involved in the management of case files.
- Ensure case files are meticulously organized and maintained.
- Prepare detailed demand letters and assemble supporting documentation for submission to insurance carriers, under attorney supervision.
- Present case summaries to attorneys as needed.
- Oversee case files from intake through to closure with guidance from an attorney.
- Perform other related tasks as required to support the business objectives.
