To complete our large family, we are looking for a passionate Category Manager!
Your Role with Us
As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, performance, and development of your product categories.
You will analyze market trends and performance metrics to build a coherent, competitive product offering aligned with Extra Shop's strategy.
Collaboration with the Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Logistics teams is key as you actively contribute to the growth and profitability of your categories.
Key Responsibilities:
Management
- Supervise and support the Category Buyer and Assistant Buyers.
- Set clear objectives and monitor team performance.
- Train, coach, and develop team members.
- Ensure a structured and efficient purchasing operation.
Strategy & Assortment
- Define the breadth and depth of the assortment.
- Create a balanced, coherent, and high-performing product offering.
- Manage brands, including imported products.
- Oversee assortment renewals.
- Optimize assortments based on performance and trends.
Pricing & Performance
- Establish a coherent and competitive pricing strategy.
- Implement promotions and clearance actions.
- Monitor margins, turnover, and stock levels.
- Ensure category profitability and performance.
- Track and analyze KPIs (revenue, margins, etc.).
