Join our dynamic team as a General Catering Assistant, where you will play a pivotal role in food service operations. Your responsibilities will include processing payments for food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness of equipment, preparing sandwiches, and assisting with inventory management.
With a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high health and safety standards, you will ensure that all food handling complies with our Food Safety & Quality Management System. You will also uphold robust stock control practices and perform necessary checks as directed by the Chef Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve meals, snacks, and beverages, including managing payment transactions.
- Thoroughly clean all kitchen equipment, crockery, and cutlery as required.
- Support and provide service in various areas such as serveries, retail, and hospitality.
- Adhere to food safety standards as outlined in the Food Safety & Quality Management System.
- Follow relevant health and safety legislation and codes of practice.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training, which may occasionally require off-site or overnight travel.
- Organize and store raw materials and packaging correctly.
- Actively participate in our commitment to a Zero Harm culture.
