The Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) is an esteemed maritime charity dedicated to lifelong learning and personal development. Serving as the governing body of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), a voluntary civilian youth organization, MSSC engages approximately 15,000 young individuals across over 400 Sea Cadet Units throughout the UK. The SCC is committed to providing a multitude of youth opportunities, focused on equipping young people with essential life skills through nautical adventures and enjoyable experiences.
We are currently looking for Catering Sessional Workers at Port Edgar Boat Station and Weymouth National Boating Centre. The primary season (February to November each year) is dedicated to Cadet training, although external organizations also utilize the facilities for various training purposes. The Caterer will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of the catering department and managing routine galley tasks. Previous experience in a fast-paced catering environment is highly desirable.
