Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Safely operate tanker trucks for the transportation of bulk liquid materials.Load and unload cargo using hoses, pumps, and valves, adhering to stringent safety measures.Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and document findings.Maintain accurate trip logs, records, and inspection reports.Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatchers and customers.Follow DOT, EPA, and all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines.Represent Altom Transport with professionalism during customer interactions.Requirements:Valid CDL Class A License.Tanker Endorsement (N) is required.Hazmat Endorsement (H) is preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire; assistance available).TWIC Card is preferred (must be obtained after hiring).Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience.Must be at least 23 years old.Clean driving record and a strong safety history.Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.Dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently.Willingness to work flexible hours, including 24/7 operations as needed.Rigorous onboarding and safety training provided by our Safety Department.Mandatory quarterly safety meetings across the fleet.
