Qualifications
Responsibilities of a Behavior Technician:
Deliver direct client care in both individual and group settings through a blend of intensive teaching and natural environment training.
Adhere to behavioral skill acquisition and reduction protocols as prescribed in the individualized treatment plan developed by a BCBA/BC.
Gather, document, and analyze data on observable client behaviors.
Support parent and caregiver training aligned with the client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction strategies.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation following established guidelines.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress, as directed by BCBA/BC.
Implement safe and appropriate practices when working with clients, reporting any critical incidents or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
Assist the BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and conducting behavior reduction assessments.
