Join Life Skills Autism Academy as a dedicated Behavior Technician! We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children on the Autism Spectrum. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapy in a personalized 1:1 setting, guided by the expertise of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This transformative therapy focuses on enhancing essential developmental skills, including communication, social interactions, and readiness for school.
Pay Range: $19 - $25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client care in both individual and group settings, employing intensive teaching methods and natural environment training.
- Adhere to behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies as outlined in individualized treatment plans designed by BCBAs.
- Document and summarize data on client behavior accurately and promptly.
- Assist in training parents and caregivers in line with the client’s treatment protocols.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress under BCBA guidance.
- Utilize safe and appropriate procedures while working with clients, reporting any critical incidents or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapeutic environment.
- Support BCBAs in preparing client materials and conducting assessments.
