About the job
Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician, where you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of children with autism. As a Behavior Technician, you'll work closely with children on a one-on-one basis, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the expert guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Your responsibilities will include using proven, evidence-based techniques to teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while effectively minimizing challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are not only passionate about making a positive impact but also possess the patience and compassion necessary to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Even if you lack prior experience, we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to support each child. This role requires physical stamina as you will often need to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, lift, and occasionally carry children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will leave knowing you’ve made a significant difference in the lives of children and their families. If you are ready to make a positive impact and grow with us, apply now to become a valuable part of our team!
