About the job
Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and play a crucial role in improving the lives of children with autism. We are seeking passionate individuals who are eager to make a difference.
In this rewarding position, you will work closely with children on a one-on-one basis, executing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Utilizing evidence-based strategies, you will assist children in developing essential communication, social, and daily living skills, while also minimizing challenging behaviors.
This role requires a blend of patience, compassion, and teamwork. We will provide you with comprehensive training to empower you to support each child effectively, even if you do not have prior experience. Given the dynamic nature of working with children, a strong spirit and physical capability are essential, as you may be required to stand, walk, lift, and assist children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will leave knowing you have made a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families. If you are ready to embark on a rewarding career, we encourage you to apply now and start your journey as a Behavior Technician with us!
