About the job
Join our passionate team at Centria Autism as a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism. In this role, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Utilize evidence-based strategies to help teach vital communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.
We seek individuals who are dedicated to helping children unlock their full potential. The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to support each child, regardless of prior experience. Given the nature of our work, candidates must be prepared for physical activity as you may need to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will leave with the satisfaction of knowing you made a positive difference in the lives of children and their families. Join us in our mission to bring hope and help to those we serve. Apply today to kickstart your journey as a Behavior Technician!
