As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Cascadia Healthcare, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing essential nursing assistance and supporting them with daily activities. This position requires compassionate individuals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those they care for.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to nurse call systems to assess and meet resident needs.
- Provide assistance with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care, and incontinence management.
- Deliver food trays and assist residents with their meals.
- Support residents with mobility exercises and transitions to/from wheelchairs or activity areas.
- Help residents with positioning and turning in bed.
- Facilitate ambulation according to facility guidelines.
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, along with food and fluid intake/output as directed.
- Document activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care on appropriate flow sheets or task sheets.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to contribute to resident care plans.
- Record restorative services in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with facility staff to deliver person-centered care based on resident preferences.
- Maintain punctuality and regular attendance for scheduled shifts.
