In this role, you will apply your chemistry knowledge to formulate rigorous, domain-specific questions and assess AI-generated answers for scientific precision, logical coherence, and chemical accuracy. No prior AI or technical experience is necessary.
Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote role with an asynchronous schedule and no minimum hour commitment; most contributors dedicate about 5–20 hours weekly during active projects.
Project assignments are based on current needs, with potential for future opportunities as they arise.
Qualifications
PhD candidates and graduates in Chemistry or related fields, including those currently enrolled in PhD programs or in postdoctoral roles.
A strong foundation in advanced chemical reasoning, experimental design, reaction mechanisms, data analysis, and core principles across subdisciplines such as organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, materials, or computational chemistry.
Work authorization information
F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects with Handshake AI. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. If your institution mandates a CPT course, Handshake AI may not fulfill your school's criteria. Note that STEM OPT is not supported.
