Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our senior management team and report directly to the CEO. This pivotal role involves shaping the strategic direction of our financial operations within a high-growth environment.
The CFO will hold key responsibilities including PCF 11 (Head of Finance) and PCF 56 (Head of Safeguarding), pending regulatory approval, and is ideal for an individual looking to step into a PCF role for the first time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Control: Oversee and optimize financial operations via an outsourced accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate management accounts and key performance metrics.
- Business Planning: Develop and manage a robust business planning framework, including ongoing forecasting and stress testing.
- MIS and Insights: Generate high-quality reporting on a regular and ad-hoc basis to provide commercial insights that support strategic business decisions.
- Treasury Management: Ensure effective cash flow management with stringent controls over banking, payables, receivables, and interest income.
- Tax Compliance: Maintain appropriate financial structures and ensure ongoing compliance with tax regulations.
- Audit Leadership: Lead the annual financial audit and provide assistance for other audits and external evaluations.
- Legal Oversight: Finalize all legal documentation, including new and renewal contracts, and oversee commercial and corporate agreements.
- Human Resources Management: Oversee the HR function by establishing strong recruitment policies, development programs, and frameworks for optimizing talent management.
