The Chief People Officer will have the pivotal role of designing, establishing, and scaling the complete people function at EVG. This is not a role focused on maintenance; it is an opportunity to develop the systems, processes, and leadership framework that will guide our organization's growth. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to translate strategic visions into actionable plans, fostering a high-performing, accountable, and values-driven organization across diverse hospitals and markets.

What You Will Own
Develop the People Function
Design and implement a scalable HR infrastructure that supports our multi-site organization.
Standardize processes across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Establish clear accountability, expectations, and operational rhythms across all HR functions.
Strategic Talent Acquisition
Establish a recruiting engine that continually attracts high-caliber veterinarians, specialists, and leaders.
Collaborate with operations to synchronize hiring with hospital growth and service line expansion.
Transform recruitment from reactive to proactive and data-driven.
Leadership Development and Accountability
Enhance leadership capabilities among Hospital Administrators, Practice Managers, and Department Leaders.
Implement effective performance management systems tied to measurable outcomes.
Partner with the CEO and COO to strengthen leadership capacity across the network.
Effective HR Operations
Develop simple, scalable systems that support our hospitals without creating bottlenecks.
Provide consistency and clarity in employee relations.
