Qualifications
Experience:• A minimum of five years in an acute care environment, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of hospital operations, including TJC, OSHA, Medicare COP, and state regulations.• At least three years of experience within Quality Management is essential.• Proven experience in TJC preparation and participation in State and CMS surveys within the last three years is required.• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is mandatory.• A Master’s Degree is preferred.• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico is required.• Additional certifications such as RN/JD, CPHQ, CPHRM are preferred.MUST:1. The Chief Quality Officer (CQO) is pivotal in steering the quality management and regulatory compliance initiatives of our healthcare facility. This leadership role encompasses the strategic planning, administration, and oversight of all quality management protocols and regulatory obligations. The CQO will collaborate closely with hospital departments to ensure adherence to State, Federal, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations standards. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CQO will also manage human resource strategic planning and personnel programs.
