Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Child Autism Behavioral Specialist! In this fulfilling role, you will engage with children with autism on a one-on-one basis, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the expert supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing evidence-based techniques to foster communication, social skills, and daily living skills while effectively minimizing disruptive behaviors. We are searching for passionate and motivated individuals who are eager to help children with autism achieve their fullest potential.
To succeed in this role, you should possess patience, compassion, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team. While prior experience is not required, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared to make a significant impact. Please note that the role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as children may be unpredictable and require assistance.
