A Typical Day:
No two days are identical, but here’s what you'll typically engage in:
- Delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care to ensure young people feel safe and supported
- Fostering positive relationships and encouraging healthy routines
- Preparing nutritious meals, aiding education, and promoting life skills
- Advocating for their voice, ensuring they feel heard and appreciated
- Assisting with medical appointments and community activities
- Utilizing your personal vehicle to transport young individuals when necessary
- Guiding them towards confidence in their next chapter
What We Seek:
Prior experience with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
A flexible approach (including waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins when required)
A clear enhanced DBS (or a willingness to obtain one)
A relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent, is preferred but not mandatory.
What We Offer:
Competitive pay:
£17.50ph - £24.00ph PAYE Rate (including holiday pay)
£20.00ph - £28.00ph Umbrella Rate
