As the City Manager, you will play an essential role in bringing this mission to life locally by overseeing high-quality rental operations, ensuring seamless service coordination, and providing a consistent, customer-centric experience. As the on-site leader, you will drive operational excellence, enhance team performance, and optimize the overall customer journey within Dublin, bridging global standards with local execution.
The Role
The City Manager is fully accountable for daily operations and overall performance at the Dublin depot. This role is predominantly hands-on (60–70%), yet carries clear managerial and financial responsibilities.
You will lead the local team, manage depot costs, ensure efficient fleet turnaround, and drive continuous operational improvements. You will be accountable not only for execution but also for achieving tangible results. Reporting directly to the District Manager, your goal is to deliver a high-performing, cost-efficient, and customer-focused operation every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end performance of the city depot, focusing on Rental and Servicing.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the local operational team, including shift planning and performance feedback.
- Foster a positive culture and lead by example.
- Track daily KPIs and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor and enhance vehicle availability, stepping in to perform repairs when necessary.
- Oversee depot cost performance, including consumables and rework prevention, while managing disciplined cost control practices.
- Ensure RVs are well-prepared and presented for sales appointments.
Practical Requirements
- Ability to lift or move light-to-moderate items (10–15 kg) and stand, walk, and move around the depot for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, regardless of weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods to support urgent operational needs.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in fast-paced operations, logistics, rental, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong operational capability with the ability to step into daily depot workflows as needed.
