Key Responsibilities
Cultivate and nurture client relationships to enhance retention; oversee the onboarding process for new clients, coordinating activities with team members and providing necessary assistance.
Efficiently manage client documentation, both paper and electronic, ensuring timely updates; compile quarterly asset valuations for billing, journal entries, transfers, invoicing, annuity fees, commission fees, and consulting fees.
Handle daily administrative tasks within the office, including scheduling appointments, marketing efforts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the receptionist when needed.
Gain insight into the client’s business needs and identify additional value-added services that Mariner Wealth Advisors can offer.
Conduct reviews of job-related activities to ensure adequate controls are in place to prevent errors, fraud, and misstatements in financial reporting.
Engage in ongoing learning through client service associate meetings and internal resources related to compliance and practice management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience in financial services or relevant internship experience is required.
Experience in wealth management is a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce, Redtail, etc.).
Familiarity with eMoney is an advantage.
Possess a positive outlook towards client interactions to provide proactive and exceptional service.
Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
