- In collaboration with subject matter experts, design and implement onboarding programs and simulation lab scenarios tailored for new hires, addressing specific business and clinical requirements.
- Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care following established, evidence-based clinical protocols, ensuring clinician qualifications and competencies.
- Support educational needs, problem-solving, and health management throughout the continuum of care.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, patient care teams, and home health management to plan, execute, and deliver comprehensive educational curricula.
- Assist in developing clinical skills programs within established clinical and preceptorship frameworks; monitor trends and implement educational strategies to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Educate staff on specialized patient care aligned with nursing protocols.
- Develop and refine patient care plans using evidence-based research and national standards; serve as a clinical resource for unit management to uphold quality patient care.
- Train technical and patient care staff on new equipment and supplies; coordinate in-service training and workshops as needed.
- Ensure compliance with protocols for the use and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
- Deliver classroom, virtual, self-study, and simulation lab training for new hires and staff clinicians as required.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of formal classes and simulation labs to ensure they meet educational objectives and yield positive outcomes.
- Identify additional training needs for new hires and existing staff in consultation with preceptors and branch leadership.
- Work with branch leadership to assess, implement, and evaluate clinician and preceptor progress towards their goals.
- Facilitate quarterly preceptor forums to gather feedback and provide mentoring and educational resources.
- Identify and communicate concerns regarding new hires and staff clinicians to Home Health Leadership and branch leadership.
- Act as a positive role model and mentor for team members new to home care and BrightSpring HealthCare.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulatory agency requirements.
- Engage in clinical process improvement initiatives and benchmarking activities as assigned.
- Participate in program development, recommending efficient outcome strategies; ensure implementation of practice changes as directed by the Clinical Support team.
- Contribute to data collection efforts to track program success and recommend adjustments to program content and delivery.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
