Your responsibilities include:Maintaining optimal uptime for our global infrastructure.Automating processes and developing tools to enhance operational efficiency.Coordinating inter-team operations to improve the platform with minimal disruption.What you will bring to DigitalOcean:Strong experience with Linux systems or networking and daily maintenance.Familiarity with virtualization and troubleshooting virtual machine instances.Knowledge of containerization technologies and troubleshooting containers.Understanding of IPv4 networking and relevant troubleshooting (CCNA equivalent).Basic knowledge of storage technologies.Experience with monitoring systems and incident management.Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, or Go.Experience with GPU hardware, AI/ML, and Kubernetes.A commitment to thorough documentation and clear communication.A demonstrated ability to learn quickly!

As a Cloud Operations Administrator II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our cloud infrastructure runs seamlessly. Reporting to the Cloud Operations Manager, you will monitor and respond promptly to any cloud health issues that may affect customer experience. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve issues impacting everything from individual droplets to large-scale cloud outages. Our workweek consists of five days, which may include weekend duties.
