About the Position
As the Commercial and Contracts Manager, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of agreements with vendors, customers, and partners. Your role will involve aligning business objectives with risk and compliance, leading negotiations, and structuring terms that safeguard value while facilitating growth. Working closely with Sales, Legal, Procurement, and Finance, you will ensure that contracts are consistent, clear, and effectively governed. This strategic, hands-on position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who excels in a fast-paced environment and is eager to influence commercial outcomes.
Key Qualifications
- Proven financial management expertise with a solid understanding of the interplay between costs, utilization, and project revenue.
- Strong business acumen and insight.
- A minimum of 10 years in Account Management, including at least 3 years in a relevant technical environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing individuals, with a focus on financial management, cost estimation, and budget oversight.
- Exceptional customer relationship development and management skills.
- Adept at exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving results, while maintaining adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and approving documentation to safeguard the company’s contractual interests and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Advising management on contractual rights and obligations, providing clear interpretations of terms and conditions.
- Offering guidance and support to team members within the framework of established policies to meet schedules and resolve technical issues.
- Recommending policy changes and establishing procedures that impact the company.
- Creating and maintaining systems to measure essential aspects of operational management and development within the Customer division.
- Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on departmental operational challenges, opportunities, development plans, and achievements within agreed formats and timelines.
- Championing a principle-driven health and safety culture that prioritizes employee welfare in accordance with Datacom policy.
