The Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Commercial Director in achieving strategic regional objectives. This position is crucial for cultivating key partnerships and retailer relationships that contribute to meeting budgetary goals and fostering long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director to realize commercial and strategic aims through effective management of third-party agents.
- Oversee the strategic management of master toy partners and distributors, identifying opportunities for sustainable growth within the region.
- Identify market gaps across categories to drive additional growth throughout the region.
- Lead cross-category retail account planning and execution in collaboration with direct partners and third-party agents.
- Facilitate communication regarding CP theatrical promotional opportunities in conjunction with the Global and Regional theatrical teams and third-party agents.
- Work actively with internal stakeholders from various divisions—including Category, Finance, Legal, Operations, Franchise, Retail, Product Development and Design, Theme Parks, Theatrical and TV, and Digital Distribution—to drive commercial success in the market.
- Organize bi-monthly market business planning and reviews with third-party agents.
- Coordinate partner pitches in the market as needed.
- Assist in preparing for the Key Partner Summit.
- Support internal tentpole initiatives to leverage “Symphony” marketing synergies, unlocking opportunities for partners and enhancing retail sell-through.
- Share best practices among third-party agents to inspire growth in product categories and retail.
- Maintain necessary databases, spreadsheets, and tracking documents.
