Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Community Experience Manager to enhance our marketing team, tasked with cultivating, engaging, and expanding one of the most dynamic cybersecurity communities worldwide. You will collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams, connecting with thousands of users to amplify their insights and translate their feedback into meaningful changes.
As the primary contact for community inquiries, you will possess the technical acumen to address product usage questions, assist in troubleshooting common issues, and escalate more complex concerns to engineering as necessary. Your role will encompass managing our presence across platforms such as Slack, GitHub, and Reddit, while also contributing to other channels like LinkedIn and Substack.
By moderating our 6,000+ member Slack community, launching ambassador initiatives, and co-creating engaging content, you will ensure that every user feels supported, empowered, and integral to our community.
Key Responsibilities
Empower Users: Develop programs to facilitate quicker adoption of OpenCTI and OpenAEV, serve as the initial point of community support, troubleshoot collaboratively, explore innovative use cases, and learn from seasoned community members. Escalate intricate issues to Product or Engineering as necessary.
Build Connections: Create dedicated spaces for specific roles (threat intel analysts, SOC teams, and red teamers), regions, and industries to foster a personalized experience within our vast global community. Actively recruit new members, highlight engaged contributors, assist members in building their personal brand, and design programs that promote peer learning.
Manage Community Engagement: Drive Filigran's engagement across Slack, GitHub discussions, and Reddit, while assessing effective engagement strategies for LinkedIn and Substack. Participate in relevant discussions, share product updates, and establish authentic relationships with power users and open-source contributors.
Encourage Product Feedback: Establish clear channels for users to share product insights, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the evolution of our offerings.
