Position: Community Life Coordinator
Location: Amersfoort
Hours: 28 – 36 hours per week
Contract: One-year contract with a view to permanent employment
Education: HBO work and thinking level
Salary: FWG 50 (€3,337.94 – €4,480.21) according to VVT collective labor agreement
Beweging 3.0 is seeking a Community Life Coordinator to collaborate with residents, staff, informal caregivers, volunteers, and community partners to foster a robust, caring, and inclusive community. A community where individuals look out for one another, feel at home, and live, care, and work together.
As the Community Life Coordinator, you will unite people, encourage community initiatives, and cultivate a culture of connection, vitality, and shared responsibility with a clear role in well-being and volunteer coordination. You will act as the catalyst that drives and maintains the process.
Your Responsibilities
In your role, you will develop and enhance the caring community at one of our locations in Amersfoort. You will bring together residents, staff, and participants, organize meetings, promote initiatives, and engage the neighborhood and social partners. As the driving force, you will provide project-based direction, maintain oversight, and independently create a shift in an environment where community-oriented work is not yet commonplace. You will take others along in this process, build support, and gradually establish a new way of living, caring, and working together.
Develop and monitor a supported plan to build and strengthen the community
Connect residents, relatives, volunteers, colleagues, and external partners in a warm, equal manner
Create support and enthusiasm among all stakeholders
Track progress, identify opportunities, and direct actions towards the steering group
Encourage initiatives that contribute to a vital, inclusive, and future-proof community
Guide well-being coaches in the transition to community-oriented work
