Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Manager to engage a vibrant community of around 160 entrepreneurs. This pivotal role focuses on daily interactions via Slack, relationship nurturing, ensuring member satisfaction, and orchestrating community events. The Community Manager will play a vital role in creating valuable connections, enhancing participation, and upholding a dynamic, professional, and uplifting community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Community Engagement:
- Oversee and actively participate in daily Slack discussions.
- Initiate conversations, stimulate engagement, and ensure community members feel connected.
- Uphold a professional, friendly, and energetic communication style.
Relationship Development:
- Facilitate introductions among members with aligned interests and objectives.
- Encourage collaboration and foster strong peer-to-peer relationships.
- Act as a central connector to enhance engagement and build trust.
Member Satisfaction & Check-Ins:
- Conduct regular check-ins every six months to gauge member satisfaction and collect feedback.
- Identify areas for improvement and engagement opportunities.
- Address member concerns proactively to boost retention and satisfaction.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute community events such as retreats, dinners, and meetups.
- Handle event logistics to ensure an outstanding experience for members.
- Support initiatives that strengthen community bonds.
Engagement Metrics & Reporting:
- Monitor community engagement metrics like participation rates and event attendance.
- Compile insights on member engagement and satisfaction for reporting.
- Utilize data to refine retention strategies and enhance community offerings.
Feedback Management:
- Administer satisfaction surveys using tools like Typeform.
- Analyze member feedback and share actionable insights with the team.
Community Health & Retention:
- Track churn signals and foster retention through effective relationship-building.
- Own the overall health of the community by identifying needs and implementing solutions independently.
- Adapt to the evolving needs of the community.
