Your Contribution:
As a Community Support Worker, you will mentor and guide refugees who have recently settled in the municipality. Your role is crucial in helping them navigate and connect with Dutch society, facilitating their integration and establishing a foundation for their new life.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide information about procedures and institutions to help refugees understand the system.
- Offer practical assistance with housing, financial matters, education, and healthcare inquiries.
- Assist with mail handling and explain postal procedures.
- Support refugees in their interactions with various organizations and in registering for health insurance or educational institutions.
- Help build their social networks.
- Collaborate with refugees to identify their skills and knowledge, and develop a support plan.
- Maintain records in the refugee tracking system.
