About the job
Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician, where your passion can transform the lives of children with autism. In this fulfilling role, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Using evidence-based strategies, you will help teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while helping to minimize challenging behaviors.
We seek individuals who are not only passionate about supporting children with autism but are also patient, empathetic, and thrive in a collaborative team setting. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you feel equipped and confident to assist each child, even if you are new to this field. The work can be physically demanding, as children may require you to engage in various activities, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. A positive mindset and physical resilience are key to enjoying this rewarding position.
At the end of each day, you will leave knowing you have made a significant impact on a child's life and their family. If you are ready to embark on this meaningful journey, we encourage you to apply and join our team!
