Understanding Private Duty Nursing:
- Provides traditional shift options (4, 8, or 10 hours)
- Delivers hands-on care with one client at a time
- Fosters strong relationships with clients and witnesses their milestones
- Serves clients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics
A typical day with BAYADA looks like this:
- Travel to a client’s home in your area on a schedule that you choose
- Follow up on and properly document physician orders
- Conduct assessments and monitor clients’ conditions
- Record observations, interventions, and evaluations
