COMPLIANCE ASSURANCE ANALYST

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are in search of a Compliance Assurance Analyst to become a vital part of our expanding Consumer Compliance team. In this individual contributor role, you will support crucial elements of Current’s Compliance Management System (CMS), which include compliance testing, licensing, audits and examinations, as well as issue management. You will also have the chance to engage in special projects as our business and the regulatory landscape evolves.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of our Consumer Compliance team, you will play a key role in ensuring Current’s compliance with consumer protection laws, regulations, and standards. Your contributions will involve:
- Compliance Testing: Conduct compliance reviews, document procedures, test controls, and identify areas needing remediation.
- Audits and Examinations: Support the completion of audits and regulatory reviews, respond to documentation requests, and assist with post-audit remediation efforts.
- Licensing & Regulatory Filings: Oversee state licenses, track filings and renewals, and manage annual reports.
- Issue Management: Monitor and facilitate the resolution of compliance issues across the organization.
- Special Projects: Our compliance landscape is dynamic, and team members are often called upon to contribute to innovative initiatives that may differ from their standard responsibilities.
ABOUT YOU
- You possess a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field.
- You are exceptionally detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
- You enjoy conducting research, analyzing processes, and uncovering gaps or patterns.
- Your communication skills are clear and effective—both written and verbal—allowing you to break down complex concepts into actionable insights.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt readily to change.
