Note: All candidates must hold a valid California real estate license. This role is hybrid, requiring in-office attendance twice a month.
As a Compliance Auditor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to compliance standards set forth by the California Department of Real Estate, Compass’ Broker of Record, MLS, real estate trade associations, and internal risk management protocols. You will support transaction coordinators and play a pivotal role in verifying the completeness of real estate transaction files. Your daily tasks will involve overseeing compliance and administrative details throughout the transaction process, from listing to closing, primarily using transaction management software to review files. Your mission is to provide agents with peace of mind by ensuring that their file submissions align with the comprehensive transaction checklists established by the Broker of Record, adhering to ethical, contractual, and statutory guidelines.
