What This Role Offers
Joining Remote at this pivotal moment means you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the global employment landscape as our Compliance Officer for North America, specifically focusing on our Canadian regulated entity.
We are in the process of developing a Financial Services subgroup within Remote that will manage payment licenses across Canada, the UK, and Europe. To uphold Remote's licenses and thrive in the fintech sector, we are committed to adhering to the highest standards of customer due diligence, anti-money laundering (AML), and counter financing of terrorism (CFT) practices, collectively known as 'Know Your Business' (KYB).
Your role will involve establishing and executing robust procedures for vetting our North American customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory and payment partner requirements. You will be tasked with implementing innovative AML and CFT solutions for our platform while serving as a vital resource for guidance on Canadian regulatory standards. Candidates with experience in USA AML regulations and best practices are strongly encouraged to apply, as you will also support the Remote Group's KYB compliance policies and procedures.
