We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Computing Teacher and Digital Lead for our prestigious bilingual school in Hangzhou. This role is set to commence in August 2026 for the upcoming 2026/27 academic year.

Our esteemed bilingual day and boarding institution provides a comprehensive education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 for students aged 3 to 18. Nestled on a modern campus, we currently serve over 500 students with a team of more than ten expatriate educators. The majority of our student body comprises Chinese nationals who benefit from a unique curriculum that fuses the Chinese educational framework with essential components of international learning. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Computing lessons to secondary students utilizing the IGCSE/A-level framework, ensuring an enriching educational experience.
- Create and sustain an outstanding learning atmosphere that encourages a positive attitude towards Computing.
- Tailor lessons to meet diverse student abilities and align with year-group curriculum objectives.
- Act as the Digital Lead, collaboratively steering the school’s digital strategy and integrating digital technologies across the curriculum.
- Develop high-quality teaching plans on schedule and conduct continuous formative and formal assessments, communicating concerns to the Head of Faculty.
- Regularly assess and enhance the effectiveness of your teaching and actively engage in the staff appraisal and classroom observation processes.
- Contribute to the formulation, implementation, and documentation of school policies related to Computing and support the acquisition of Computing and Digital Learning resources.
- Uphold school regulations consistently to ensure discipline, student wellbeing, and a safe learning environment.
- Support students' comprehensive wellbeing and engage the wider community in recognizing student achievements.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Significant teaching experience in an international environment.
- A recognized teaching qualification.
