Team Overview: As part of the Inventory Operations & Applications department, the Configuration Support Specialist plays a crucial role in managing technical product and system configurations for Nintendo’s merchandise, including finished goods and repair programs. The primary responsibility includes creating part numbers and SKUs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and technical services to define product and part specifications.
- Evaluate impacts associated with product changes and coordinate change management efforts.
- Ensure timely remediation of issues while aligning stakeholders to standards and guidelines.
- Initiate Agile requests for updates to Engineering Specifications, Part Numbers, BOMs, and Oracle EBS system changes.
- Manage product structure changes throughout the lifecycle and communicate updates effectively.
- Lead planning and implementation meetings for Technical Services product configurations.
- Develop workflows for part approvals and manage the overall part re-approval process.
