The ideal candidate will be available for assignments when contractors are actively installing improvements. This role involves monitoring construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, and maintaining effective communication among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and document daily construction activities.
Prepare detailed daily diaries and inspection reports, along with weekly progress updates.
Measure and record quantities of materials utilized and work completed.
Assist in the preparation of monthly payment requests.
Review claims for additional work and change order costs.
Coordinate utility services as needed.
Interpret contract plans and specifications accurately.
Facilitate communication and coordination between owners, contractors, and government agencies.
