Job Overview
We are looking for a Consulting Engineer to join our Risk Informed Services division in the greater Philadelphia, PA area. This role involves supporting local clients with local travel to client sites ranging from 25% to 40%, based on relevant experience and client commitments. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, including probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) engineers within the Energy & Utilities team, delivering top-tier consulting services for nuclear safety and reliability. This is a dynamic position that combines teamwork with independent responsibilities, offering substantial opportunities for onsite client interaction.
Responsibilities
As a Consulting Engineer, you will be an integral part of our corporate risk management team, collaborating with various nuclear plant departments to implement the PRA program. Your role will include providing technical consulting across a broad spectrum of engineering and regulatory projects while supporting daily operations at nuclear power plants. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the implementation of Maintenance Rule
- Guiding work planners on maintenance activity scheduling to minimize risk
