Qualifications
Your Responsibilities:Requirements Discovery: Analyze the client's business operations, existing processes, challenges, and needs.Create JIRA tickets with:Acceptance criteriaImplementation specificsConsumer and provider mappingsDocument details on Confluence, including:UML diagrams (sequence)Integration design patternsMapping tablesEndpoints and environmentsPostman collectionsFacilitate workshops and discussion sessions, including '3 amigos' sessions with development, testing, and business analysis teams.Data model implementation involving HTTP operations and data types.Technical Skills:Create Swagger Specifications (Contracts) using Swagger Editor, Notepad++, or VS Code.Familiarity with integration patterns and flows including:SOAP vs. REST APIsAPI contract design and maintenanceUnderstanding of API consumers and providersError handling patternsMessaging queuing processes such as ActiveMQ and KafkaProvide estimates for change requests and larger projects using a reliable estimation methodology.Design systems from a functional perspective and produce drafts of design documents, leading and managing their review process.
