About the job
Mission
At Walrus Foundation, our mission is to foster the widespread adoption of the Walrus decentralized storage and retrieval platform.
Vision
We empower Web3 developers by offering seamless, decentralized storage solutions that are intricately woven into their existing ecosystems. About the Role
We are seeking a skilled contract Technical Content Strategist to articulate and convey the Walrus narrative to a developer-centric audience. This position will center on transforming Walrus’ key value proposition—providing verifiable data infrastructure for programmable, transparent, and reliably accessible applications—into clear, engaging, and technically sound content, inclusive of code samples and diagrams where applicable.
This role demands a proactive approach and close collaboration with product, engineering, developer relations (DevRel), and marketing teams. You will be responsible for both shaping narratives and creating content. We are in search of someone with strong convictions on effective technical marketing strategies directed at developers.
What You Will Do
- Refine and articulate Walrus’ developer-facing narrative, ensuring a clear distinction between Walrus and its competitors.
- Create and edit a variety of technical content, including:
- Developer guides, tutorials, and instructional walkthroughs.
- Technical case studies featuring ecosystem partners.
- Thought leadership pieces aimed at builders, such as technical threads and blog articles.
- Use-case focused content illustrating why developers should choose Walrus for their AI projects.
- Manage the content calendar with an emphasis on impactful channels (primarily email, articles, landing pages, and case studies).
- Assist in product launches by providing technical content and work closely with engineering and DevRel teams to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Translate complex ideas and real-world events into engaging stories for the developer community.
About You
- You are a proficient writer capable of clearly and credibly explaining technical systems.
- You have experience producing content tailored for developers or technical audiences.
- You are comfortable collaborating directly with engineering and product teams.
