Position Overview
As the Contractor Social Performance Supervisor, you will report to the PRQAQC (Planning, Reporting, Quality Assurance, Quality Control) within the broader socioeconomic division, directly under the guidance of the Vice President of Socioeconomic Development. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert guidance and technical advice to construction managers, ensuring that our construction initiatives align with social value creation and benefit local communities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating the implementation of social and economic development (SED) initiatives within the project management office (PMO).
- Ensuring timely reporting and effective communication of issues following company protocols.
- Identifying and addressing bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement within the SED strategy.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and execute an annual contractors' social and economic development plan.
- Ensuring contractors understand and adhere to social performance requirements as detailed in contracts.
- Managing grievances related to construction activities in line with IFC performance standards.
- Delivering training modules on social and economic development performance to contractors.
- Monitoring and verifying contractor compliance with social performance obligations.
- Providing regular reports on contractor social performance.
- Standardizing processes across stakeholder engagement initiatives and managing relevant contracts.
