Sift is on the lookout for a dynamic Contracts and Legal Operations Manager to spearhead our legal contracts initiatives and drive the evolution of our legal operations. This pivotal role will engage closely with various Sift business units, particularly our sales and operations teams, from a contracts standpoint. We are seeking a talented individual to oversee our legal operations as we expand, embrace increasing automation and AI technologies, and fulfill our mission of helping organizations prevent fraud proactively.
About the Role:
Conduct thorough reviews and negotiations of diverse buy and sell-side contracts, encompassing order forms, NDAs, and MSAs.
Manage the entire business procurement contract administration lifecycle, from addressing and tracking incoming requests to the finalization of agreements.
Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with sales and sales operations, to enhance the sales process and streamline deal cycles.
Develop and maintain essential templates, playbooks, policies, and other knowledge resources.
Monitor and report on departmental metrics to support informed decision-making.
Promote continuous process improvement and implement automation or AI-driven enhancements, reimagined workflows, and the creation of process documentation.
Assume additional responsibilities as needed within a small, fast-paced legal and compliance team.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of prior in-house experience as a contracts manager, with at least 3 years in a B2B SaaS environment focusing on contracts administration, legal operations, or a related role, possessing direct experience in managing and negotiating contracts.
Proficiency in using contract lifecycle management systems and other technological or AI-based legal operations tools.
Familiarity with Salesforce.
Proven track record in developing and implementing tools and processes that enhance the legal function.
Exceptional organizational, time, and project management abilities, along with the capacity to manage a high volume of work and balance competing priorities.
A passion for organization, meticulous attention to detail, and a drive to bring open matters to resolution.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in fast-growing companies.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
