- Oversee and ensure adherence to construction and related contracts for the project, providing expert advice to Project Management.
- Draft and manage all contractual correspondence and legal documents pertinent to project execution and construction contracts.
- Guarantee compliance with contractual obligations to clients throughout project execution, reporting findings to Management.
- Identify and address all contractual and legal matters at the project level, escalating issues to Project Management as necessary.
- Develop specific contracts and legal documentation with third parties utilizing standard templates.
- Evaluate proposals from suppliers and subcontractors, preparing standard responses for proposals, bids, and contract amendments from a contractual perspective.
- Analyze and resolve business conflicts between the company and clients or third parties, presenting solutions to Project Management.
- Document or review the minutes of progress meetings with clients and/or joint venture/consortium partners.
- Maintain comprehensive project contractual records and files (e.g., correspondence, submitted and received claims).
- Collaborate with the Project Controls Manager to gather and escalate critical inputs related to any litigation, arbitration, or extrajudicial settlements.
