Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.At least four years of experience as an Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer or in a similar role, focusing on controls submittals.Proficiency with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).Experience with Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (PMS/EPMS).Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.Familiarity with U.S. codes and standards.Experience in data centers or other mission-critical environments.Knowledge of Operational Technology Networks.Experience with SCADA platforms and defining technical cybersecurity requirements.

This position is primarily remote but offers flexibility to work from various locations across the U.S. where AECOM has offices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing cutting-edge automation and SCADA systems for both mechanical and electrical systems, contributing to complex data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects globally.
While the position is mainly remote, occasional travel may be necessary for client meetings, significant project milestones, onsite collaboration, or other essential business activities. Travel will be scheduled in advance and is expected to be infrequent.
