What You Will Achieve:New Product Incubation (NPI) & Investment: Lead market analysis to support major product initiatives, shape M&A strategies, and establish robust investment evaluation frameworks to guide portfolio decisions.Commercial Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our product portfolio, including the assessment and refinement of our GTM approaches.Long-Range Planning: Spearhead planning efforts for Horizon 2 and Horizon 3, identifying long-term growth opportunities to ensure sustained success.Strategic Threat & Opportunity Analysis: Conduct comprehensive scenario analyses to evaluate potential market threats and opportunities, informing executive decision-making.Strategic Partnerships: Identify and assess strategic partnership opportunities that align with Asana’s overarching vision.Operating Model and Org Design: Collaborate with leadership to design organizational structures and internal operating models that effectively support our corporate objectives.Special Projects: Lead unique, high-priority analyses and initiatives that extend beyond traditional functional boundaries.Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure alignment across Product, Finance, and GTM teams to effectively resource and execute strategic initiatives.

Join Asana's Corporate Strategy team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term growth trajectory of our organization. As the Corporate Strategy and Planning Lead, you will be responsible for identifying and developing high-impact product initiatives, exploring new go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and prioritizing investments that enhance our market differentiation and value creation.
This is a strategic and highly visible position that requires collaboration with key stakeholders across Product, Finance, GTM, and General & Administrative teams to transform visionary ideas into actionable growth initiatives.
This position is based in our San Francisco office, following a hybrid work model. Most team members work in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays offer the flexibility to work from home.
