Qualifications
Position Overview:The Line Lead role is a frontline supervisory position responsible for directly managing and nurturing a team of hourly associates within an Inspection Center to consistently meet production targets. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Key Responsibilities:Safely oversee the movement of vehicles in and out of the Inspection Center for necessary repairs, while consistently achieving production and quality targets.Meet or surpass inventory production goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Direct daily operations of the assigned team; assess team strengths and weaknesses; identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary actions.Engage team members through effective coaching, development, and performance management; provide constructive feedback and demonstrate desired skills.Foster a work environment that promotes open communication, team unity, and adherence to Carvana’s core values.Communicate proactively with team members, ensuring clear understanding of expectations, performance metrics, and goals.Address and resolve conflicts among team members.Ensure compliance with established systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.Review and approve identification of mechanical and physical defects in incoming inventory.Lead a team of production associates and collaborate with the Inspection Center General Manager to assess inventory for repair or rejection based on cost estimates and overall vehicle quality.
