Job Overview:
As part of our Court Support team, you will facilitate the timely processing of over 100,000 court filings each month. The Court Support Specialist plays a vital role in communicating with courts across the nation, utilizing court dockets and websites to gather necessary information. This position demands regular interaction with court personnel and collaboration with team members through various communication channels, including phone, email, and live chat. Your primary objective will be to retrieve court documents efficiently and keep them updated in our system. This role is fully remote, but applicants must be located in Indiana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with courts regarding individual orders and general status updates, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to existing orders.
- Maintain professional communication through calls and emails, demonstrating a positive service attitude when interacting with court staff, attorneys, and clients.
- Utilize our in-house application, Skye, to accurately process documents and perform data entry tasks.
- Manage regular phone communications to assist courts and customers with inquiries.
- Provide relevant updates from courts to our process servers and clients as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to identify inefficiencies in document processing between courts and our system.
- Navigate and understand court dockets to extract case documents and statuses, downloading and importing documents as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
