Your Role and Impact
As the Creative Director specializing in Art Direction and Performance at Xero, you will be the visionary storyteller behind our brand’s growth, aligning brand presence and performance to enhance our connection with customers. You will spearhead the creative direction for lifecycle marketing initiatives, web experiences, and performance campaigns, transforming data-driven insights into compelling narratives that spur measurable actions.
Owning the strategic vision for our landing pages and conversion pathways, you will ensure that our creative endeavors are both conceptually robust and emotionally impactful. You will lead a diverse team, guiding them to achieve a harmonious balance between creative brilliance and effective outcomes, ultimately contributing to a positive impact on the global economy.
Your Team and Collaboration
Joining Xero’s Internal Global Agency, you will report to the GM, Head of Creative. This position is highly collaborative, necessitating partnerships with Lifecycle, Performance, and Web Experience teams to co-manage results. You will also collaborate with brand and product marketing leaders to ensure visual and tonal coherence throughout the customer journey.
Initial Focus Areas
Directing the creative strategy for performance-oriented campaigns and global landing pages.
Mentoring a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, and content specialists focused on growth and optimization.
Creating innovative testing frameworks leveraging AI and analytics to enhance performance.
Supporting performance optimization initiatives, including responsive design, content structuring, and user experience flow.

Desired Qualifications
Extensive experience in creative leadership with a background in digital, lifecycle, or performance marketing.
A strong blend of art direction and writing skills, enabling fluid transitions between design and storytelling.
Proficiency in leading teams towards innovative outcomes while maintaining a focus on performance metrics.
