About the Role:
Join our innovative team as a Video Editor, where you will be responsible for crafting captivating and high-impact video content tailored for marketing, training, and communications. You will oversee the entire editing process, from raw footage to the final product, ensuring that every project aligns with brand standards, is technically sound, and optimized for various platforms, including web, social media, events, and broadcast. This role demands a blend of creative storytelling and technical editing prowess to produce content that effectively drives audience engagement and achieves desired results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Footage Management:
- Import, organize, and catalog raw footage from diverse sources.
- Maintain structured project files and version control for easy accessibility.
- Editing & Assembly:
- Edit raw footage into cohesive narratives using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Synchronize audio and video, adjust pacing, and ensure seamless transitions.
- Implement cuts and sequences that resonate with brand identity and campaign goals.
- Graphics & Effects:
- Integrate titles, lower thirds, motion graphics, and animations, utilizing tools like Adobe After Effects, Motion, or Canva.
- Consistently apply logos, callouts, and brand visuals throughout projects.
- Audio & Color Correction:
- Mix and master audio for clarity, noise reduction, and optimal sound levels.
- Incorporate background music and sound effects in compliance with licensing regulations.
- Execute color correction and grading to ensure a uniform look and feel.
- Multi-Platform Versioning:
- Export deliverables in various aspect ratios and formats suitable for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and website embeds.
- Optimize file sizes, codecs, and compression settings for superior quality and performance.
- Collaboration & Feedback:
- Collaborate with creative directors, marketing teams, and stakeholders to align edits with overarching campaign objectives.
- Manage review cycles through platforms such as Frame.io or similar feedback tools.
- Performance Monitoring & Archiving:
- Track video analytics to influence future editing decisions.
- Archive projects in cloud storage with appropriate metadata for future reference and compliance.
