About the job
Join the revolution of creativity at Rebellion!
For three decades, Rebellion has been independently crafting and publishing extraordinary video games through our various studios established by Jason & Chris Kingsley. However, our passion extends beyond gaming; we operate our own film studio, develop board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, we bring to life comics and graphic novels including the iconic Judge Dredd.
Rebellion is expanding! We are seeking an innovative Video Editor to help us translate bold narratives and striking visuals into engaging content.
This exciting position is within our internal marketing video team, a vital component of the larger Rebellion Marketing group. As a Video Editor, you will be central to our creative endeavors, responsible for crafting and producing dynamic videos, demos, and cut scenes that highlight Rebellion’s offerings. Your work will align closely with both the technical requirements and the artistic vision of our projects.
Our office is located by the riverside in Oxford, providing a relaxed and creative environment where collaboration fosters our achievements. We offer a relocation package, including assistance with moving, temporary housing, and comprehensive support to ensure a seamless transition to your new surroundings.
While we value in-person collaboration at our Oxford headquarters, we recognize the importance of flexibility and are open to discussing hybrid work arrangements tailored to individual preferences.

- Collaborate closely with essential internal stakeholders across various functions, including Marketing, Art, Design, Programming, Outsourcing, and Production, to achieve optimal outcomes within set constraints and guidelines.
- Work synergistically with fellow Video Editing team members and Producers to gather feedback and ensure alignment with project briefs.
- Utilize specialized video tools and techniques for in-game video conversion.
- Track and update daily task progress using designated tracking tools.
- Proactively explore innovative methods to engage target audiences, boosting awareness and sales potential for Rebellion’s games.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in gameplay capture, video editing, and compositing techniques, including keying.
- Experience with game engines for creating cinematics.
- Solid understanding of video production processes and best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work creatively under tight deadlines.
