The Opportunity
Are you passionate about creating systems that keep our healthcare ecosystem functioning smoothly? As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our credentialing and provider enrollment team, ensuring that our healthcare providers are credentialed and enrolled swiftly and accurately with health plans and hospitals, allowing patients to have continuous access to their care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing provider enrollment applications for health plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and hospitals.
- Following up with health plans and hospitals regarding submitted applications.
- Resolving complex credentialing-related issues directly with IPAs and health plans.
- Maintaining an organized database of provider information and enrollment activities in MD Staff.
- Applying for license renewals.
- Communicating credentialing updates to providers.
This is a hands-on position where you will collaborate with the Credentialing Supervisor and fellow Credentialing Coordinators to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
