About the job
As a Credit Controller at Quadient, you will be responsible for managing a designated segment of our Sales Ledgers to optimize cash flow, reduce bad debts, and maintain exceptional customer service standards. You will assist fellow credit controllers in ledger oversight and help in resolving escalations. Additionally, you will handle complex debt situations and oversee external processes, ensuring timely collection of amounts owed to Quadient Limited and Quadient Finance (targets to be set locally). It is essential to meet all performance targets, including DSO, Ledger %, BDP %, Team Cash, while adhering to established dunning cycles.
Your role in our future:
- Proactively collect outstanding debts via phone and email.
- Monitor and manage the status of debt collections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of query statuses.
- Ensure all relevant contact information is organized within core business systems.
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings to mitigate customer disputes.
- Process any orders held due to credit issues, liaising with sales and customers as necessary.
- Assist in preparing accounts for litigation when issues arise early.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
- Act as a mentor and first point of contact for Credit Controllers.
- Manage all disputes and issues related to your assigned ledgers.
- Lead customer escalation calls, serving as the primary liaison with external vendors, such as collection agencies.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and training of processes and procedures.
- Support various additional projects as needed.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are well-documented, trained, and followed.
- Assist in creating reports, confidently sharing insights with key stakeholders.
